Dance Natural Creative Complex is a dance studio in Grass Valley, CA focused on the creative side of dance. We offer affordable classes that instill confidence and creativity in a positive environment. We also have a competitive dance team that will compete in the Northern California area.

HALEY SEE
Haley See was born and raised in Nevada County. At five years old she got her foot in the door with movement as a competitive gymnast. Haley See was born and raised in Nevada County. At five years old she got her foot in the door with movement as a competitive gymnast. In preparation for a competition a dancer was hired to help the young gymnasts with their floor routines to strengthen their musicality and fluidity. At that moment a fire had sparked. She left gymnastics to start her new chapter as an aspiring dancer. Haley’s dance career began when she was 7 years old. She grew up dancing at a local studio known as Sierra Dance Institute that was held above the Center for the Arts. She took several classes a week, training in all styles including ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, breakdance, tap, modern and even some acrobatics.

JOSSALIN ROSS
Jossalin has been dancing since she was 8 years old and teaching for the last 3 years. Jossalin brings her love of dance to all her students. It is important to Jossalin to provide a positive and safe place to learn to dance and to build confidence and self-esteem.

AMANDA HERR
Amanda has been teaching since she was 9 and has built a teaching style that allows her students to feel safe and confident. Amanda teaches in a positive way that encourages students to thrive at all levels. Amanda teaches tumbling, jazz, lyrical and contemporary styles of dance.

ELLA STOLTENBERG
Ella started her career at a very young age by joining a performing arts program. She learned to act, sing and dance and was an active participant in this group for 7 years. Ella always had a natural drive for all talents. Following her love of dance, Ella broadens her horizons with dance and joined several dance companies. Ella naturally progressed into the role of teacher where she taught the natural elements of dance. Ella continues her passion of dance as a member of a competitive dance team. Ella is the Co-founder of the local dance company, Dance Natural, and is a dance teacher at Nevada City School of the Arts.

Sophie Humphers was born and raised in Nevada County. She began her dance training at Sierra Dance Institute at the age of 3. At 15 years old, she moved to New York City, where she attended Joffrey Ballet School as a full-time ballet trainee. Here, she trained for nearly two years in Classical Vaganova Technique and perfo

Sophie Humphers was born and raised in Nevada County. She began her dance training at Sierra Dance Institute at the age of 3. At 15 years old, she moved to New York City, where she attended Joffrey Ballet School as a full-time ballet trainee. Here, she trained for nearly two years in Classical Vaganova Technique and performed at various locations in New York City, including Skirball Center. Sophie attended summer intensives at Alonzo King LINES Ballet in San Francisco and William Forsythe’s ART-of in Zurich, Switzerland. Sophie graduated from UCLA in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree. She owned and operated a dance studio in Nevada County for two years before returning to New York. Sophie is excited to be home once again, teaching dance and enjoying the beauty of Nevada County!
